The Cardio Twister Reviews Get Fit With A Twist

June 13, 2009

If you want your exercise to have a different twist, if you want whole body toning for your thighs, buns, stomach area and chest, then you need the exciting Cardio Twister, which looks like a stepper with handlebars, but is so much more! As you work your legs in a smooth gliding motion the upper part of the machine twists you from side to side in a motion that gives a great ab workout too.

The movement will also tone the muscles of your shoulders, chest and back, and being able to exercise at home is better than going to the gym for many reasons; gym membership is expensive and it isn’t always easy to get there in the throes of a busy lifestyle that involves working, feeding the family, and chasing around after the kids as they go to ballet or football.

Finding time for your own interests with today’s busy lifestyle is always a challenge and gym membership is not only expensive, but getting there is often inconvenient, and you usually find that you are paying monthly and hardly going all.

If you are paying for a gym membership, you feel obliged to go; if you are too busy with work and family (and who isn’t?), then you have the added pressure of feeling guilty about wasting money, and I find I often deal with this by eating too much and then feeling even more guilty when I put on weight!

Costing in the region of $160, the Cardio Twister works out at around the same price of a single months gym membership, which makes it excellent value for money. It does not take up much space as it can be placed in any room in your house, and the stepper element will not only work your thighs and hamstrings but also the inner and outer thigh.

The muscles of the inner and outer thigh (adductors and abductors) normally need specific exercises to tone them, but the gliding side to side movement of the Cardio Twister engages all of the leg muscles, and you can easily change the resistance level to move your workout from cardiovascular to specific toning.

The unique twisting motion ensures that the muscles of your abs and the muscles that sit at the side of your waist are also being toned at the same time — no more bulging tummy and flabby love handles.

In the privacy of your own home you can use the Cardio Twister whenever it suits you — just 10 minutes three times a day will soon start to give you results in that you will lose inches from all over your body, there will be no more flabby bulges round your waist and hips, and you’ll look and feel great.

The Cardio Twister Review – Another Gimmick?

March 6, 2009

cardiotwisterI’m a Personal Trainer, and part of my job – the largest part in fact – is to try and persuade people to exercise at home when I’m not actually there. I do have some clients who I see three or four times a week, but they are the exception as I’m not cheap! In the case of most clients I set them up with an exercise program and some healthy eating advice and then go in to see them once a week to start with then dropping to maybe once a month. This works out cost-effective for them and a regular stream of clients for me. One of the exercise machines I suggest to them is the Cardio Twister.

My philosophy revolves around teaching clients how to exercise at home and by themselves. I get exasperated when people tell me that they used to go to a gym class with their best friend but then the friend dropped out, so they won’t go alone. Why not, for heavens sake! Exercising is up to them, not their best friend; they’re not joined at the hip and are perfectly capable of losing weight on their own.
I want my clients to be happy exercising alone; if you make regular daily exercise part of your routine it will become a habit, and it will do you nothing but good. If you enjoy your exercise, great; if you don’t enjoy it, do it anyway! I am sure that brushing your teeth twice a day doesn’t exactly thrill you to the bone, but you do it because you don’t want your teeth to drop out. Why should exercising your body be any different?

Exercising with the Cardio Twister at home will take care of the Cardio part of your workout (surprise, surprise). Even though the Cardio Twister has seven levels of resistance for the stepper, I do not believe that will be enough to fully tone the legs and butt, so I recommend bodyweight resistance exercises as well, like squats and lunges.

The Cardio Twister consists of a stepper that moves from side to side in a skating or gliding motion. This bit looks suspiciously like the Lateral Thigh Trainer to me, but I pretend I haven’t noticed! Then there is a set of handlebars at waist height which twist from side to side as you step, meaning that you are rotating at the waist at the same time. This will work your core muscles and obliques, burning extra calories and trimming the waistline.

The complete kit comes with two healthy eating guides and two workout DVDs, to give you lots of workout ideas and ensure you never get bored. At $160, the Cardio Twister is within the budget of most people, and it comes with a warranty and a 30 day money back guarantee, which means you can send it back and get a refund if you are not satisfied. Like all exercise machines, it will work for you if you use it!
